FAQ

FAQ
Q: What languages do employees speak?

A: We have a diverse staff who speak a variety of languages including English, Spanish, Russian and Armenian.

Q: What is the procedure for getting a memorial made?

A: When you arrive at Mos Monuments for your free consultation, we discuss many things with our customers. We begin by showing design options from our catalog and discussing any special requests you may have. Once an idea has been discussed and a stone color is selected, a design is sketched while you wait. Upon completion of the design, we can give you the full price of the memorial and an estimated completion date. All of our employees offer a no pressure approach.

Q: Who installs the memorial?

A: Many cemeteries offer installation of markers and monuments. If this is not the case, we can coordinate installation on your behalf and provide quality installation services within the cemeteries guidelines for an additional fee.

Q: Do you offer shipping to the cemetery?

A: At Mos Monuments, we take the time to ensure all of our memorials are personally delivered to your cemetery of choice by one of our employees, even if it’s across the country. Shipping is also available if the customer prefers. Delivery or shipping are subject to an additional fee.

Q: What is your returns/cancellation policy?

A: Engraved memorials are a personalized product. Once the design has been approved, the contract has been signed and payment has been received, the order is placed into production and the contract is no longer cancelable. Unfortunately, memorials cannot be returned for a refund or credit.

Q: What is the price range for your markers/monuments?

A: With a personalized product, it is difficult to give generalized pricing. We believe everyone should be able to afford a quality product at an affordable price. Our services start as low as $300, sometimes lower if we are having a special. Please contact us so we can assist you with a free quote or come in today for your free consultation and we can give you the full price as well as an estimated completion date.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept payments in the form of cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card.

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located inside of Hollywood Forever Cemetery at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038. As you drive in through the gates, make a right and drive past the watch tower. We are tucked away in the industrial area of the cemetery. Alternatively, you can park near the main entrance and call us. One of our employees will be more than happy to guide you.

Q: What are your business hours?

A: We operate Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. but you can reach us by phone at anytime.

Q: Are you open on the weekends?

A: Saturday and Sunday we are available by appointment only. Feel free to call us anytime to set up an appointment.

Q: How can I clean a granite memorial?

A: We highly recommend cleaning granite memorials near a water source, such as sprinklers, every 2-3 weeks. Clean with soap and water using a soft cloth only and allow to air dry. If the granite memorial is not near a water source we recommend simply watering it down every 6 months and allowing it to air dry.

Q: Are you open to establishing a relationship with a cemetery or funeral home?

A: Yes, we already have strong relationships with reputable cemeteries and funeral homes in the Los Angeles area including Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Chevra Kadisha Mortuary. Due to technology, we have the capability of working with additional cemeteries or funeral homes anywhere in the world. If you’d like to consider Mos Monuments as your monument partner, please contact us.

Q: I have more questions. Who do I contact?

A: If you have more questions, please feel free to call us at 1–818–481–2757 or e-mail mosmonuments@gmail.com. You also have the option to fill out a contact form and one of our employees will be in touch with you shortly.
